When we observe the Apostles seated at the table of the Last Supper, we are attracted by the sweetness and composure of one above all of them: John.
While the other Apostles, among which his brother James the Great, react strongly to the revelation of the betrayal, John seems to move slowly towards Peter who is asking him a very important question. Which are the true reasons why he is so far from Jesus in this moment?

After a few hours from the celebration of a new year, the 2nd of January 1497, the beloved and young Dutchess of Milan, Beatrice d’Este, dies of birth.
The visit deepens the masterpiece by Da Vinci in relation to his patrons, the Dukes of Milan, and to the Dominican Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where we believe the body of Beatrice rest in peace.
