The tour will also provide background information about the troubled history of the masterpiece, starting from farsighted Duke Ludovico il Moro, who appointed Leonardo and Bramante to design the complex of Santa Maria delle Grazie, and coming down to the devastating bombing of 1943 and the most recent restoration works.
The tour lasts 45 minutes (15 inside the refectory and 30 minutes afterwards).

This will be the interactive experience of the visit, during which the visitors will have the possibility to touch an high-definition image of the Last Supper in order to discover incredible details, such as the salt spilled by Judas over the tablecloth or the little hole opened by Leonardo to sign the focus point of the composition.
Each visitor will have the opportunity to discover the creative process of the artist and to experiment the favourite technique by Leonardo, the sanguine drawing, composing together a true visual mosaic.
The tour lasts 60 minutes (15 inside the refectory and 45 minutes inside the educational room).
